If the birth of Minnie and Thomas, children of Jacob and Margaret, is anything to base their move to Illinois on, they moved to Illinois between the years of 1868-1870. They show in the 1870 Census that Thomas was born in 1868 in Indiana and by July 30, 1870 they are in Illinois. That move must of been quite hard on Margaret as she was caring for two small children.

The 1870, 1880, & 1910 Census has Jacob being born in 1841.
