The 1860 & 1870 Census has Thorton being born in 1825. The 1870 Census has Thorton being born in Michigan for some odd reason. I believe this was in response to where are you from.

In the 1860 Census, Thornton and Delila have an Eliza E and Elizabeth both listed as children. Eliza and Elizabeth is a name that is interchangeable. These two could be the same child. Further research is required to see if these two children are actually one child.
