Herald-Press - Saturday, January 28, 1928 Huffman, Mrs. J acob Mrs. Jacob Huffman died yesterday at her home near Majenica after suffering from heart disease and dropsy for a period of five years. She was 62 years old. Mrs. Huffman was born in Wells county, Ind. on December 5, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Minnich. In 1885 she married Joseph Cloud, who died in 1888. Her second marriage was to Mr. Huffman, who survives her, in 1891. Besides the husband, Mrs. Minnich is survived by two children, Mrs. Henry Heaston of Lancaster township, a child of her first marriage, and Elijah Raymond Huffman of Hammond, Ind. Two other children, one by the first marriage and one by the second, are dead. Mrs. Huffman also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Emma Allen of Rock Creek, Mrs. Nancy Lefler of Warren and Mrs. Nellie Drove of Chicago and three brothers, Charles and Frank Minnich of Warren and Perry Minnich of Western Canada . Funeral services will be held at the Lancaster church of the Brethren Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the funeral cortege leaving the house at 1 :30 o'clock. The Rev. Shank of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren will conduct the services, assisted by the Rev. L. D. Young of the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the Lancaster church cemetery, Mrs. Huffman having been a member of that congregation Warren, Perry Minnich, of Canada, and Mrs. Nellie Dawe, of Chicago. Arrangements for the funeral had not been made late Friday night.

    Mrs. Jacob Huffman, aged sixty, died at 7 o'clock Friday night at her home, six miles north of Warren. She had been ailing in health for the past several years and was seriously ill for the past ten days. Death was caused by dropsy. Mrs. Huffman was born on December 1 7, 1867, near Warren, in this county, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Minnich. Her marriage was to Jacob Huffman in 1891. She is survived by the husband, two children, Mrs.Henry Heaston, of Andrews, and Elijah Huffman of Hammond; her father Peter Minnich, of Warren, and by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Charles Allen, of Majenica; Charles Minnich, Frank Minnich and Mrs. John Messler, all of
