(Research):There is a gap between Mary and William, and there is a birth record for a child in 1875 for Austin and Sarah (Boyd) Saunders, and because of the census records only having about records for the birth, I believe that the birth record is for William, thus he is being put on the family page of Austin and Sarah. The birth record does not have a name for the child. However, I have been able to find death records for both of his siblings by his mother. Saunders, William L. (I6664)

(Research):There is a George Tout living with Thomas and Martha who was born about 1841 in Indiana. Is he Thomas's brother ? How is he related to Thomas because obviously with his age he is not his son unless he was married before he married Martha. There is also a John Tout living with Thomas and Martha that was born about 1838 in Indiana. Who is he? The 1860 census has Thomas being born in Indiana but, the marriage record has him being born in Fleming County, Kentucky. Which is correct ? Three of Thomas's children's death records have been found. Two of the three state he was born in Indiana. In fact, Lizzie (Tout) Clark, his daughter states that he was born in Danville, Indiana. There is a second county in Danville, Indiana. It is Clay county. Tout, Thomas M (I17515)

(Research):There is a Gillian Harper who was born in 1822 in Fleming County, Kentucky living with Fletcher and Nancy in 1850. I have a feeling this may be Nancy's sister since Nancy's maiden name is Harper. Harper, Nancy (I20726)

(Research):There is a Lewis Bryant in the 1850 Census that is living in Meade County, Kentucky that is married to a Deodama Bryant. They have a daughter by the name of Ann. Further research is required to determine if this is Edmond Bryant or not. When he gets married to Ether Downing he is in Henry County, Indiana. This is possible but needs further research to find out forsure. Bryant, Edmond (I22086)

(Research):There is a May Prater living within the household of Archibald and Elizabeth Prater in 1870. She is 21 which makes her born about 1849. She was born in Indiana. Who is this and is she any relation to Archibald? There is a Walter Prater living within the household of Archibald and Elizabeth Prater in 1880. He is listed as their Grandson. Is he Nancy's son or one of the other children's son? He is born @1868 in Missouri . Prater, Archibald (I9072)

(Research):There is a Timothy Hines (Himes) aged 15, born in 1845 living with Lewis and Nancy in 1860. I assume this is a son from a previous marriage of Lewis's. Further research is necessary to determine if this is correct. Himes, Lewis R. (I12496)

At least one living or private individual is linked to this note - Details withheld. Living (I3659)

(Research):This child is listed with his sister after she is married to John Morton McCormick as a brother to head of household. He is listed as Noah M cCormick. In the 1860 census he is listed as a child of Smith and Elizabeth Tomlinson. There is an approximate stretch of 11 years between Margaret and Noah. Although not impossible, it is highly unlikely that there was no children in between these two children. The possibility also exists that he is a child of Hugh's or of one of the girls. Tomlinson, Noah (I20191)

(Research):This family seems to keep their children with other people, or whoever reported it to the census taker did not tell them everyone in the household. Martha was supposedly born in 1875, but was not in the household in 1880. Bluford was born in 1862, but was not in the house hold in 1870. So where were these two girls during the census when they should have been in the household? Or is it that someone forgot to mention them to the census taker? McKee, David L. (I4737)

(Research):Unless Emma was married before she married Aaron Bishop Chadwick, it appears that she never had any descendants. She married Aaron in 1905, which would have made her about 41 when she married Aaron. Likes, Nancy Emma (I11885)

(Research):Was Catherine a child from Charles's family or did they adopt her? There is a huge gap between her and Oscar. Jones, Catherine (I20883)

(Research):When William married Francis she had an illegitimate daughter named Josephine. Josephine was given the Kelsay name and Claimed by William as his daughter. Between 1880 and 1884 when William and his family went to Illinois, Josephine was left with her Coffey grandparents in Colorado to be raised by her grandparents. 265 (Research):Where is William & Elizabeth in 1860? I cannot find them in Fleming or Bath. Maybe they were indexed wrong or they lived somewhere else for those 10 years. William states in 1880 that both of his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Where is the whole McKee family in 1860 ? I could understand if I couldn't find one but, not to find any of this family? I cannot even find David. McKee, William (I4739)

(Research):While researching this family, I noticed that their last name from 1840 to 1860 was Sanders in the census records. In 1870 the last name changes to Saunders. I do have a general index to marriages in fleming county that has most of these people as Saunders. But, I would not hesitate to look in the Sanders general index if you have access to it. I do not know if the change in the name is because the census recorder misspelled the name or if they changed their name and it was also spelled wrong in the general index to marriages in fleming county. We may never know. Saunders, Viot R (I10630)

(Research):William is living with Coleman and Lementine Miller in 1920 and is listed as their grandson. Whose child is he? Miller, William P. (I14910)

(Research):William Thomas's death certificate states that his mother's name is Mary Stickrod. However, James Morgan's death certificate states that the mother is Elizabeth Stickrod. James death certificate states his mother was born in Pennsylvania, whereas William's states Kentucky. Since the 1850 shows the oldest female as Elizabeth and that she was born in Pennsylvania, I am going with that. Stickrod, Elizabeth (I20058)

(Research):William's middle name was taken from the signature of the informant. His death date was taken from the amount of years, months, and days of how old he was on the death certificate. Walton, William Rolla (I18823)

(Research):With this family, the last name is spelled differently all the time . In 1870 the name is spelled Thornberg, in 1880 the name is spelled Thornburg, and in 1900 the name is spelled Thornsburg. So it is upto the researchers discretion on how they put the last name. I opt for the Thornsburg since that is the way it is spelled in the death certificates. Thornburg, Van M. (I19948)

The 1870 Census, has the dwelling and family numbers on the incorrect line. The last i checked a small child would not be the beginning, especially considering the parents are on the household before. The also have her indexed as Sarah Armstrong, which you can clearly see is a transcription error when you pull the actual document up.

It appears that Theopelus is living in the same household as Henry Bowser. However, there is a #8 on line 37 between Henry and Theopelus. By conjecture, I think Henry and Theopelus may be brothers, but that will need furthur research to determine if my theory of them being family is correct.
Although, in the census where the children from Ida on down states the date of census on July 18th, I am choosing to put the 15th since that is the date of the census for their parents. I don't imagine the census taker went to the house twice.
Theopelus parents were both born in Pennsylvania.
