Notes - (Research):Birth: May 30, 1906 Death: Mar. 16, 1999 Pearl Alberta Eck, 92, Shelbyville, died Tuesday at Heritage House Convalescent Center. Born on May 30, 1906, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Martin and Grace (Smith) Kelsay. She married Lester Raymond Eck, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Eck was a sales clerk at J.C. Murphy Dime Store for 15 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for several years. Survivors include one son, Wayne R. Eck, Greenfield; one daughter, Lorene Marshall, Indianapolis; one sister, Ruth McKelleb, Gas City; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren . Seven siblings, two daughters and two grandchildren preceded her in death. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, the Rev. Bob Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. t o 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery Shelbyville Shelby County Indiana
