Notes - Even though Martha appears to be in a different family than her parents, what it is actually is that her brother and wife were living with his parents. The census taker put Lewis as a different family within the household and therefore it appears that his siblings are their children when they are not. That being said Lewis and Rachel were married in 1858 so it is possible that Martha is their daughter, but highly unlikely. A death certificate will determine whose daughter she actually is.
Martha Anna is listed as being born in 1857 in the 1870 & 1880 Census
