Notes - According to the online tree at ancestry, Schumeyer/Marsh, Lewis and Irwin/Dewit are not Alonzo's children, they are Frances Amelia Uneril' s children from a previous marriage to a man by the name of Elam/Elaum Page. When searching Lewis I did find him in Cattaraugus County with another family under the name of Page. They also state that Amelia died in 1855. She is in the 1855 census with Alonzo along with the two boys. However, it is possible that she died after the state census was taken in 1855. I cannot locate Alonzo in 1860 to verify this information. However, this same tree states that she is buried with no stone right next to her second husband Alonzo. According to the 1900 Census, Alonzo and Sarah Adams did not get married until 1857 . So Ines could be either wifes daughter. It is possible that France s died while giving birth to Ines, or it is also possible that Sarah and Alonzo were married right after the death of his first wife which would make Sarah the mother of Ines. A death certificate of Ines would prove who her biological mother is.
Alonzo and Sarah have their grandson, Maurice McKenzie living with the m in 1900. He was born May of 1898 in New York.
