If I ever find a death record to where I can view the death document I will change it but, for now, since I can clearly see that it states the 23rd on the tombstone, I am putting the death date as the 23rd. I do believe that the two Arnold children living with her parents in 1880 are her children but have to prove it first. Amanda has a granddaughter Violet E Arnold (born 1913) living with her in 1930. She had been ill seven weeks from hardening of the arteries. Mrs. Arnold was born in Jefferson township, Huntington County, November 28,1853 (sic)to Solomon (sic) and Margaret Welker (sic) Lewis. Her marriage was to Levi Arnold, Sept 2 ,1871. He died October 23, 1916. Surviving are two sons, Oscar Arnold, Huntington County, and Jerome Arnold, Warren, and a sister, Mrs. Lester Brinneman, Huntington County. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Warren Wesleyan Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. H.T. Hawkins in charge.
