13119 When looking for Susan in the 1880 Census, do not look under her marri ed name. She is listed with her maiden name Bowen, Susan (I12362)

13120 When looking to find this couples marriage record you will need to look with the t in the last name with an h instead. It is clear to see why it was indexed incorrectly due to the writing. Family: David Rust / Phebe E. Cost (F6411)

13121 When Mary died the cemetery was most likely just Huntertown Cemetery and may still be that today and they just put old at the end to decifer what part of the cemetery. Mary Francis Preble (I20790)

13122 When searching for Adam in the 1850 Census, be aware in Ancestry they have him indexed as Adam Shoplaw. I did submit a correction so it may show up but if not search with the name previously mentioned. Shoptaw, Adam Hoke (I21674)

13123 When this marriage was recorded for searchable documents on family search, they documented as the marriage taking place on 14 May 1824, however, when you enlarge the document, no where do i see a 1 in there at all. Due to this I am recording it as 4 May 1824. If anyone can prove the 14th, I welcome the correction with documentation. Family: Daniel Swank / Sophia Trowel (F6338)

13124 Where Alonzo and his family were in 1910 it unknown at this time. I am unable to locate them in the 1910 Census. Im also unable to find them in 1930. Although Alonzo's death certificate states that his date of birth was July 14, 1870, all other records indicate the year of birth as 1864. I am keeping the year of birth at 1864. If anyone can prove 1870 besides the death certificate, I welcome the documentation.

In the 1880 Census Alozo is listed as being born in 1862.

13127 Where Mary and her children are in the 1870 Census. The 1880 Census has Mary being born in 1829 in Indiana. Indiana is definitely not correct. the 1850 & 1860 Census has Mary being born in 1831. The 1900 Census has Mary being born in July 1827 Nelson, Mary A. (I16801)

13128 Where was this child at in 1870? She was not living with her parent s in 1870. Did they forget to list her when the census taker asked ? Or was she staying with relatives? Davis, Bettie Robinson (I20900)

13129 Where was Willie at in 1880? Or was it after the Census was taken ? I think the census was taken after so why did they not record him? Faris, Willie (I13853)

13130 Who is Margaret Dillen/Dillon that is living with Michael in 1850? Sh e can't be Maria because she is 28 in 1850 and that would make her bor n@1822 and Michael and Maria were married in 1824. She cannot be thei r daughter because they weren't married until 1824, which is possible , however, it is very doubtful. Michael also has 2 children living wit h him in 1850: Dawson M and Edwin L. Dawson M was born@1842 and Edwi n L was born @1844. Which one of Michael's boys do these 2 children b elong to? Further research is required. Obviously, Maria has died bef ore 1850. Dillon, Michael (I6133)

13134 William is listed as being born in 1898 in the 1910 Census.

William J. Eberhart, prominent young farmer of Jackson Township, who was brought to the William S. Major Hospital in this city three days ago suffering from tetanus, commonly known as lockjaw, died of the disease at 8 o'clock this morning in the hospital.

He was twenty-nine years, three months and two days old at the time of his death.

The fatal illness of Mr. Eberhart dates to nine days ago, when he stepped on a rusty nail at his farm in Jackson Township. The nail was embedded deeply in his foot and an infection set in almost immediately. His suffering was intense and as a last hope of saving his life he was moved to the hospital here where expert medical attention failed to ward off the inevitable results of the ailment with which he had been attacked.

Mr. Eberhart was born in Jackson Township Nov. 30, 1897, and his entire life was spent in that community. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eberhart, who resided in West Broadway here.

His marriage with Miss Vivian Harrell took place Aug. 2, 1917, and three children were born. They are Dorothy May, 9; William Harrell, 7, and Lorene Lavonne, 4, who survives with the sorrowing widow. He also leaves two brothers, Carl Eberhart of Shelbyville. and Everett Eberhart, of Jackson Township, and one sister, Mrs. Clyde Pierson, of Shelbyville.

Many residents of the community are saddened by the untimely death of this young man. He was an energetic and successful farmer, an ideal husband and father and one of the leaders in his section of the county. All who knew him held Mr. Eberhart in the highest esteem and deeply mourn his death.

He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church at Smithland and was affiliated with Hiawatha Lodge, I.O.O.F., at Smithland. This lodge will take part in the funeral services.

The funeral will be held in the church at Smithland at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Dallas Renn will conduct the service and burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.

C.F. Fix & Son are the undertakers in charge.

Friends may call any time at the late home in Jackson Township.

13135 William is listed in the 1860 Census as being born in 1853. The 1880 Census has him being born in 1855 Roush, William A. (I14261)

13136 William is listed in the 1910 Census as being born in 1870. In the 1930 & 1940 Census he is listed as being born in 1869.

It appears that William and Anna had no children. There was no children listed in any of the census records.
Coblentz, William (I23787)

13137 William is not in the 1860 Census with his parents as he should be if he was born in 1859. The 1910 Census lists William as being born in 1858.

WELL KNOWN MAN DEAD.
William Coble of Hopedale, died yesterday evening after a brief illness from tetanus. The news of his death came as a shock to his many friends in Carroll and White counties, few of whom had heard of his condition.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at Hickory Grove.
Mr. Coble was injured a -week ago by being run over by a load of corn which he was hauling to Idaville. He attempted to get down from the wagon to adjust the harness when the team started ahead again catching his ankle in the double tree, and throwing him under the wagon which passed lengthwise over one leg.
Coble, William Harrison (I24408)

13138 William Kaough was never married. Through all the census records his birth has been several different dates including 1842,1843, June 1844, and 1845. I have chosen to go with the one on the death certificate. Kaough, William (I953)

13139 William's birthdate was calculated on the age on the death certificate since no birthdate was on the death certificate Barbee, William (I11668)

13141 With the Census records with Margaret all either say 1812 or 1813 for her birth. All but the 1900 Census state Virginia. The 1900 Census states she was born in Tennessee. I choose to put Virginia as that is the most of what is stated. Most likely in 1900 someone else stated where she was born. In 1900 she is living with her son George, or at least that is what the census states. She does not have a child that was born that late as far as we can research. Margaret also had 12 children according to the census records from 1850 - 1880. However, the 1900 Census states she had only 11 children. The 1900 Census also states only 8 living. So if it is 12 children, there was only 9 living at the time.
According to find a grave Margaret was born in December 1812 in Lee County, Virginia. There is no documentation for this birth place but it is plausible that it is accurate. Also her death date is stated as 1905, which again there is no documentation but plausible since she was still living in 1900

13142 Within Asa and Sarah's household in 1870 is a Harriet Kelsey who was born in 1848 in Canada. Most likely Asa's sister. Further research required to find out. Kelsey, Asa (I4785)

13143 Without being able to see the actual document, it is unclear weather David was born in 1669 or 1670. An acual document would need to be seen to know this. Bozworth, David (I24365)
