Obituary-Huntington, IN . Herald-Press - Tuesday, February 28, 1939 Mrs. Sarah Catherine Huffman, 88, died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday of apoplexy at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ella Mae Conklin, 602 Wayne Street in FortWayne . Mrs. Huffman was born in Liberty township, Wells county,October 29 , 1850 to Jacob and Mary Chapman Neff and was married to George W. Huffman December 5, 1868. The husband, a formerWells county sheriff, died December 24, 1926. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Brethren church and lived for a time near Mt. Zion in Liberty township. Surviving are a son, Charles W. Huffman, Mt.Zion, and the daughter at whose home she died. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Mt. Zion U. B . church, the Rev. C.H.
