William M Harmon signed, along with his father and Daniel Harmon an agreement promising to pay 38$ to Mary Todd after 12 months of the date, for value received of her (Believe this was for land purchased by them, upon the death of her husband)

May 26th 1851: Copy of Last Will &Testament of Jackson Harmon; made April 21 1851 - William is named son and directed to have four acres of land adjoining him on the East end of my (Jackson's) land for and in consideration of thirty three dollars and fifty cents which money shall be paid to Mary Todd for me.(Believe Jackson was able to pay Mary Todd a little of his portion of the 38$ promised her before he died) (Further wordingof will; that at time of Wife' s death all of his real and personal estate shall be equally divided between all of his heirs)

Blair Believe to have been brought into case due to him being the purchaser of l and from John G Harmon and wife; Joseph Harmon and wife; and Asa D Sanders and his wife. His claim is in answer of Exhibit A that he is an innocent purchaser and that if properly managed that there should have been enough after death of widow to have paid off debts owed.

Who is Margaret Dillen/Dillon that is living with Michael in 1850? Sh e can't be Maria because she is 28 in 1850 and that would make her bor n@1822 and Michael and Maria were married in 1824. She cannot be thei r daughter because they weren't married until 1824, which is possible , however, it is very doubtful. Michael also has 2 children living wit h him in 1850: Dawson M and Edwin L. Dawson M was born@1842 and Edwi n L was born @1844. Which one of Michael's boys do these 2 children b elong to? Further research is required. Obviously, Maria has died bef ore 1850.
