The last name of this family is misspelled throughout the years. I prefer to go with what the marriage record of John and Sarah show. It is also spelled that way on the tombstone that they share together.
There is a George W Talbot born in 1846 in Indiana living in the household in 1860. How he is related, if at all is unknown at this time. It could just be a hired hand or he could have come on the wagon train and had no where to go so the family out of the goodness of their hearts let him stay with them.
