    SUNDAY MORNING, MAY 14, 1916

    WELL KNOWN MAN DEAD.
    William Coble of Hopedale, died yesterday evening after a brief illness from tetanus. The news of his death came as a shock to his many friends in Carroll and White counties, few of whom had heard of his condition.
    Funeral services will be held Sunday at Hickory Grove.
    Mr. Coble was injured a -week ago by being run over by a load of corn which he was hauling to Idaville. He attempted to get down from the wagon to adjust the harness when the team started ahead again catching his ankle in the double tree, and throwing him under the wagon which passed lengthwise over one leg.

    The 1870 Census has Phoebe listed as Phoeba. The 1910 Census lists Phebe as being born in 1842. The 1920 Census lists Phoebe as being born in 1841. Although find a grave states Phebe as her name and that is what is on the grave stone, it just depends on what record you rely on. I am going with what find a grave states because her marriage record states that.

    The 1870 Census, has the dwelling and family numbers on the incorrect line. The last i checked a small child would not be the beginning, especially considering the parents are on the household before. The also have her indexed as Sarah Armstrong, which you can clearly see is a transcription error when you pull the actual document up.
