In the 1880 Census, Robert and Harriet have her father Abijah Boggess living with them along with a person by the name of Ralph Boggess. Ralph is listed as being a servant. However, I believe that he may be a brother or some type of relation to Harriet. Further research is required to figure that out.

According to the obituary of Harriet, she was the mother of 14 children. There were two children listed as being a Thomas in the 1870 Census. One was born in 1869 and one in 1868. Is the 2nd Thomas actually someone else?

According to Harriet's daughters death certificate she was born in Meigs County, Tennessee. However, Meigs County did not exist until 1836

12565 The 1850 Census has Aaron being born in 1793 and being born in Kentucky. Although there are people that say that Aaron was born in Virginia, both Census records show Kentucky for his birthplace. Now that being said, I know part of Kentucky was formed from Virginia so it is possible but as it shows Kentucky for his birth place that is where I am leaving it as a birth place. Both marriages of Aaron show him being married in Kentucky both times. There are a lot of people that put his last name as Saunders. Both marriage records and both census records show his last name to be Sanders. Even J Lewis that posted his information and his gravestone on find a grave lists it as Saunders. It clearly shows Sanders on the tombstone. All documentation shows Sanders. Sanders, Aaron (I8965)

12570 The 1850 Census has Christina born in 1789.

According to Find A Grave, Christina's maiden name is Moyer. However, the marriage license clearly states Myers. As such, that is what I am leaving it at.
Myers, Christina (I14189)

12571 The 1850 Census has Daniel being born in 1838 Kearns, Daniel Parker (I14281)

12572 The 1850 Census has Daniel born in 1809.

Listed in the household with Daniel and Susan in 1860 are Mary Latimore, Elizabeth Stampser, and Ellen Serinus. They are all children and it is unknown at this time if they are family or who they are.

Listed in the household of Daniel and Deborah in 1870 are Eleaner & George Sumner. It is unknown if they are servants, family or just boarders.

It appears that all of Daniel's children stayed in Ohio except for Samuel who went to Indiana.
Gipe, Daniel (I4063)

12573 The 1850 Census has Edmond being born in 1822. Although normally I go off of the death certificate because it is the most accurate, the tombstone clearly states Edmund's date of birth.

According to Edmund's death certificate, his father was Edmond Leach born in Virginia and Sarah Harrison born in Kentucky. However, the find a grave memorial for This Edmund Leach states that his father is William Leach. Further research is needed.
Leach, Edmund "Edmond" (I24305)

Per Death Record for Elizabeth, it lists her as being 65 years, 10 months and 26 Days which translates to October 6, 1838. I chose to use what is on the death record over what is said on findagrave.
Dinius, Elizabeth (I23901)

12577 The 1850 Census has Enoch born in Kentucky and born in 1806.
Enoch's first wife Sophia died in 1877. The second wife by all accounts is Rebecca Ann Marts. Marts is the same as the last name Martz. It is unknown if she was a Martz by birth or marriage.

Although find a grave has Lewis having the middle name of Holland, I have yet to see documentation to prove this. If I find documentation to prove this, I will add it but, until then I am leaving it as is. In the time frame we are talking about, children very rarely had a middle name.

In the 1880 Census, Lewis is listed as having Rheumatism. This usually indicates a Rheumatic Fever and can include heart troubles. It apparently did not kill him at this time as he lived for another 18 years.

Rheumatic fever is a condition that can inflame or make the heart, joints, brain, and skin swell. Rheumatic fever is thought to be an immune response to an earlier infection. As the body's defense system, the immune system is important in fighting off infections.

There is a Jennie Rogerson born in 1868 in Indiana living in the household of Moses and Tabitha. It is unknown at this time if she is related or not.
Martz, Moses (I10618)

12598 The 1850 Census has Patsy being born in 1842.
According to find a grave Patsy died on June 2, 1859. However, she is still within the household of her parents in 1860. So I imagine that the death year is incorrect as she is still alive and in the census with her parents.
Gatewood, Patsy (I3173)

12599 The 1850 Census has Peter being born in 1788. In the 1860 & 1870 Census Peter is listed as being born in 1789.
