| Robert and Hannah were married in Portage County, Ohio in 1842. According to the 1850 Census their first two children were born in Ohio. So, if you believe the account of Albert and Emily being born in Ohio, they moved their small family of 4 to Indiana between 1845 - 1848. John, the third child born, or at least the third as far as we know, was born in Indiana. They are found in Madison County, Indiana in July 1850. In the 1860 Census, Robert and his family are listed with the last name of Kelso. Although this is part of the soundex for Kelsay, it is not how their last name is spelled. With all the other research done, it is obvious this is Robert Kelsay and his family. | Kelsay, Robert (I16575)
| Robert Bailey and Matthew Wilson were in an altercation in 1852 that resulted in Matthew shooting Robert which ultimately cost Robert his life. |

Sarah Ellen Lee was born August 25, 1854, and was united in marriage to John Harrell December 18, 1873. Unto them were born two children, Aurilla Seigel and Ollie Harrell. These with her husband are left to mourn her demise. At the time of her death she was 42 years, 4 months and 29 days old. 1121 | Sarah was married previously to William. I believe her previous husba nd was John Kenny/Kenney. There are two children within the househol d of William and Sally in 1870 which I believe are her children. Sara h is deceased by 1908 when William remarried to Maranda Rhodes. I hav e done a search on Ancestry and Family Search and the only thing I ca n find is the marriage record of two of her daughters that indicate th at her last name is CoxIn the 1900 Census, Sarah states she is the mot her of 13 children with only 8 living. I only have 7 recorded. Of th ose 7 there are 2 that are already deceased by that time. Who are th e other 8 children? | Cox, Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth (I8068)

| Solomon and Margaret have a grandson and granddaughter living with them in 1880. They are Daniel Arnold (born 1871) and Adie Arnold (born 1872). Both were born in Indiana. It is unknown at this time which daughter is their mother. Although there is no documentation to prove Solomon's birth and death and places, I believe it is accurate. However, unfortunately we are unable to prove with a death certificate. | Lewis, Solomon (I20962)
| Solomon's birth date was calculated on what is stated on the Bethel Cemetery Listing page where it has how old he was at death. In 1880, there is a George Duling born in 1855 that is listed as Solomon's son. He is not found in the census records of 1860 and 1870 with Solomon and Jane. | Duling, Solomon (I10142)
| Some Census Records have Emma being born in 1859. In the 1900 and 1910 Census, it states that Emma is the mother of 12 with 10 living. | Myers, Emma (I23250)

| Some people have Freelove having the surname Groger.I did verify that her last name was Groger with her daughter Anna's death certificate. Supposedly she was married previous to Peter Sainton/Stanton and that is possible with the 19 year old that is living within the household of Peter and Freelove. However, the family search family tree states that her first marriage to David Nye was in Vermont. Her first husband, if she indeed did marry this previous man, died in 1859 whereas her and Peter were in the same house living as husband and wife in 1850. So unless the supposed first husband died in 1849, this is impossible. Although divorces did happen back then, it was very uncommon for it to happen. It was frowned on to divorce. | Groger, Freelove (I22452)
| Some people have William has the son of Mary E Pigg. However, William was born before George and Mary were married. George and Mary married in 1853 and William was born in 1851 which means that he is the son of Louisa Walters, who is the 1st wife of George. | Usrey, William Jackson (I22823)
| Some say that Margaret moved to Indiana to live with her father after her first husband Lemuel passed away. However, according to the 1840 Census, both Lemuel and Dutton were in Ripley County, Indiana. If what they say is accurate, both families left Kentucky in 1833 and Lemuel died in Ripley County, Indiana. Documentation for their daughter (Lemuel and Margaret) has her being born in Indiana. So my guess is her second husband was acquainted with her father and maybe even her first husband and thats how they met. | Lane, Margaret (I24614)
| Some think that Elizabeth's last name is something different than Newland. However, when she was married to Toliver she was 18 years old. It does make it possible that Newland is a married name but not likely due to her age at marriage. Her parents were married in Bath county, Kentucky. I know families did move around back then but clarke and bath counties of where they were born seems to not make sense to me. In the 1880 Census Elizabeth is listed as being born in 1827. | Newland, Elizabeth D. (I2469)

| t is assumed that George died before the 1860 census since he cannot be found after the 1850 census. However, because there is no documentation to be sure of this, I have left the died entry blank. However, I did find his death record in the Kentucky Death Records, 1852 - 1965 on Ancestry with an online document. According to this death record he was 13 years old and he died of fever. 1148 | The 1850 & 1880 Census has William born in 1842. The 1900 Census has William being born in February 1849 or at least that is how it was transcribed. From other records we know he was born in 1841. | Darnell, William H. (I7432)
| The 1850 & 1910 Census has Francis born in 1834. Although the say Center Township for where he died, where the National Military Home is located at in Center Township is actually in Marion. According to the 1880 Census, Francis's father was born in New York and his mother was born in Connecticut. | Lottridge, Francis Marion (I5511)
| The 1850 & 1910 Census has Harriet being born in 1826, the 1860 has her being born in 1828, and the 1870 & 1880 Census has her being born in 1827. In the 1880 Census, Robert and Harriet have her father Abijah Boggess living with them along with a person by the name of Ralph Boggess. Ralph is listed as being a servant. However, I believe that he may be a brother or some type of relation to Harriet. Further research is required to figure that out. According to the obituary of Harriet, she was the mother of 14 children. There were two children listed as being a Thomas in the 1870 Census. One was born in 1869 and one in 1868. Is the 2nd Thomas actually someone else? According to Harriet's daughters death certificate she was born in Meigs County, Tennessee. However, Meigs County did not exist until 1836 | Boggess, Harriet Celiah (I21641)
