The 1900 Census has Amanda being the mother of 4 children with all of them living. There is a huge gap between two of the children which indicates she may have had more children. I do believe that the two Arnold children living with her parents in 1880 are her children but have to prove it first. Amanda has a granddaughter Violet E Arnold (born 1913) living with her in 1930. It is unknown at this time who Violet belongs to. Source: H. She had been ill seven weeks from hardening of the arteries. Mrs. Arnold was born in Jefferson township, Huntington County, November 28,1853 (sic)to Solomon (sic) and Margaret Welker (sic) Lewis. Her marriage was to Levi Arnold, Sept 2 ,1871. He died October 23, 1916. Surviving are two sons, Oscar Arnold, Huntington County, and Jerome Arnold, Warren, and a sister, Mrs. Lester Brinneman, Huntington County. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Warren Wesleyan Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. H.T. Hawkins in charge.
