Besides the tombstone there is no documented proof of her birth and death. Find a grave also states that Thomas is their son. There is no documented proof that this is their son but with the parents being listed as G & M Joyce, it is most likely their son. General Notes: Granville has a Mary E , 2 years old, born in I878 in Indiana living in the household in 1880. All of his living boys are living with him so it is unclear who she belongs to. Age Variation: All Census Records from 1850 - 1880 has Granville being born in 1825; the 1900 Census shows his birth as 10/1824.
