1st Marriage information:
Granville and Mary Breedlove's marriage has been documented by the marriage record. Besides the tombstone there is no documented proof of her birth and death. Find a grave also states that Thomas is their son. There is no documented proof that this is their son but with the parents being listed as G & M Joyce, it is most likely their son.

General Notes:
Granville has a Mary E , 2 years old, born in I878 in Indiana living in the household in 1880. All of his living boys are living with him so it is unclear who she belongs to.

Age Variation:
All Census Records from 1850 - 1880 has Granville being born in 1825; the 1900 Census shows his birth as 10/1824. Although the death certificate for Granville states he was born in 1844, this is clearly impossible as his first son was born in 1847.

Notes:
There is a Calvin Thorp Bound , born 1831 in Tennessee living within the household of John in the 1850 Census. There is an update submitted by a Ancestry user that removes the last name of Bound. I do believe the Bound is a discriptive term relating to him being bound to John at the time of the Census
There is a James Leander, born 1834 in Tennessee.
It is unknown why both of these men were staying within John's household but it is prudent to put in the notes, just in case there turns out to be a relation.
