| Although the 1850 Census has the last name as Morning, this is the correct family in the 1850 Census. All the first names and birth dates match. Of course, the birth dates are not exact but close enough to determine this is the right family. There is no record in 1850 of this family under the name Moran or Moren. With this last name Moran and Moren is spelled like that throughout both ways. Although the 1900 Census has John's last name as Moran, all other records show Moren. As I don't have a death certificate for him I am going with what I have recorded from the Census records, 1850 - 1880 The 1880 Census has John being born in 1822 | Moren, John (I17037)

| Although the 1870 Census records David and Elizabeth as having two boys, Henry and Reuben, I believe these two children are Mary and Barbara and they were recorded incorrectly. Henry and Reuben don't show up any where else in the census. The ages are about right for Mary and Barbara. Also, in the 1900 and 1910 Census, Elizabeth is listed as being the mother of 6 children with 5 living. If anyone can disprove this, I welcome the proof. | Kauffman, David (I22308)
| Although the 1870 Census states that Elizabeth was born in Pennsylvania, all other records show Indiana. 1837 | Gasho, Elizabeth (I22305)

| Although the 1900 Census states the last name of Garrison, it is obvious with the rest of the research done that the last name is Larrison. OBITUARY KOKOMO TRIBUNE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 1937 IRA LARRISON DIES AMBOY MAN SUCCUMBS MONDAY TO PNEUMONIA-FUNERAL WEDNESDAY. |
| Although the 1920 Census has Vernon listed as William's son instead o f stepson, in 1910 he is listed as his step son. It is nearly impossi ble for him to be William's son since William was still married to Mar y " Mollie" C Campbell at the time. Further research is required to a scertain who Vernon's father is. It is possible however, that Willia m adopted Vernon. | Cannon, Vernon (I10640)
| Although the 1920 Census states Ohio as where Elisha was born, all other documentation states Indiana. On Elisha Adam's death certificate March is originally what was put as the month of death but, it was crossed out and April was put there. It is possible that he actually passed in March, however, I think it is more likely that he passed in April. | Adams, Elisha P. (I6237)

The 1900 Census also states that she is the mother of 6 children, with only 5 living. 635 | Although the Census records state that Bassett was born in 1879, I bel ieve that he was born in 1876 because his draft registration card ha s his full birth and his death record from Ohio states that he was bor n in 1 876. I will be ordering his death certificate to see if I ca n verify the birth date. | Gates, Bassett Wilson (I16018)

| Although the death certificate says that Estill was born in 1931, du e to the age at death and the birth index, I have kept it at 1911.Plu s he was in the 1920 census with his parents. The 1900 Census states that Henry was born in February of 1837 whereas his death certificate states September 1, 1837. On his tombstone it has him being 70 years, 7 months and 8 days. Usually I go with the death certificate, however with both the 1900 census and find a grave both saying February I am going with that birth date instead of what is on the death certificate. | Norris, Henry (I20550)
| Although the death certificate states Margaret was born in Indiana, all children were born in Ohio, as the family did not move to Indiana until 1850. |
| Although the death certificate states that Arthur was born in Indiana, his marriage application and census records indicate Michigan so I am leaving it at Michigan. (I22557)
| Although the death certificate states that Elisha was born in Pennsylvania, every other record states Ohio. | Chandler, Elisha (I12304)

| Although the death certificate states the year of 1857 of Ida's birth, she was not in the 1860 census with her parents, and all other records, including the findagrave memorial for her states 1867. "Annie J." (I24085)
| Although the Find a Grave has her birth year as 1843, her death certificate has 1844. I am more inclined to believe the death certificate then I am a tombstone. Yes, tombstones are a gold mind however, if theres a choice between the death certificate and tombstone, I will go with the tombstone. | Eberhart, Mary Ann (I23443)
