Although there has been no documented proof because I am unable to find Clarissa's death certificate, the 1880 Census states that her father was born in Delaware and her mother was born in Kentucky. This is the exact location that Levi Hatfield and Rachael Watkins were born. Unfortunately, with finding her death certificate, it does not state her parents at all.

According to the 1900 Census, Clarissa is the mother of 8 children with 6 living. Who the 2 that has already passed is unknown at this point. All children have been accounted for.
The 1910 Census has Clarissa being born in 1832 and in Ohio.
Hatfield, Clarissa (I23986)

Although there is no proof at this time, I find it highly probable that there was children between Leah and Elizabeth, and between Elizabeth and John. There is a big gap between the two on both which makes it very likely there were more children.
Census records also have Henry born in 1797.
Gasho, Henry (I22301)

Although this child is listed with the last name of Booker, he is also listed as the stepson of Elmer. It is assumed that they belong to the previous relationship that ended in a divorce with someone with the last name of Lacy.

Although Wortaga is a Male in 1870, in 1880 he is Courtney J and i s a female. Impossible to be both. Both were born at the same time s o it is assumed it is the same person.

Although, Alva's death certificate states he was born in Hancock, Indiana which is in Howard County, I find this highly unlikely due to the fact that his parents never lived there. They lived in Rush county all of their lives.

Although, in the 1900 Census Margaret is listed as being born in Misso uri when she is living with her brother Cyrus, in the 1880 Census whe n she is listed with her father, she is being listed as being born i n Ohio . I am going to go by the Ohio birthplace unless I find someth ing that shows that she wasn't besides the 1900 Census.

Wallace, Amanda Isabelle (I15097)

Amanda was known as Manda as well. According to the 1900 Census Amanda was the mother of 5 children with none living. I have been able to find 2 of the 5. Who are the other three? It also appears that all of them died at a young age. It makes you wonder how that made Amanda feel. I know as a mother that would absolutely break my heart.
Scott, Amanda Jane (I12011)

An online tree states that Matthew married for his second wife Hanna h Elizabeth Shrout. This marriage according to them occurred in 187 7 which would make Lizzie Mary Campbell's daughter. However, until fu rther research can be done, I cannot prove this.

Ancestry has John listed as John S in the 1870 Census. I believe the S is actually an L. They also index him as John T in 1880 and it still looks like an L to me.

Andrew could be the son of Sarah or Margaret, it depends on when in 1860 he was born. If he was born in August or before, he is the son of Sarah, if it was in September or after he is Margaret's. Further research is needed to determine which mother is his.
Chrisman, Andrew (I12342)

Andrew is listed as being born in 1858 in the 1910 Census. He is listed as being born in 1857 in the 1920 Census.
A granddaughter, Callie Starkey is living with Andrew and Anna in the 1910 Census. Who Callie's parents are is unknown at this time.
Starkey, Andrew G. (I23780)

Andrew is listed as being born in 1861 in the 1880 & 1910 Census. Even though the death certificate states that Andrew was born on June 27, 1861 all other records indicate 1860 including the tombstone so I have decided to use 6/27/1860

Anna is listed as Ann in the 1850 Census. She is listed as Annie in the 1920 Census. She is also listed as being born in 1840 in the 1920 Census. In the 1900 Census it shows her being born in February 1839

It is stated in the 1900 Census that Anna is the mother of 10 children, also stating that all of the ten children are still alive.

In the 1870 Census there is a child listed as Hawel. There are people that think Hawel is a different child than Mason. However, if that was the case Mason would have been listed in the 1870 Census and he was not except for the mis spelling of his name as Hawel. There is a reson that a tombstone cannot be found - because it does not exist because the child does not exist. In the 1880 Census all 8 children are listed in the household. In the 1900 Census, Anna is listed as being the mother of 10 children, with all 10 children living so the idea that Mason and Hawel are 2 different children is answered as no with this listing.
Anna is listed as being born in February 1839 in the 1900 Census
Stainton, Anna A. "Annie" (I20703)

Anna is listed as being born in 1872 in the 1920 Census. The 1930 & 1940 Census has Anna being born in 1871.

Arthur Swank was found deceased on 4/27/1967. The newspapers that were on the porch indicated that he died on 4/22/1967. Evidently, Arthur did not have many visitors.

As with his brother John, at the time of his death there was no requirement to report the deaths that occured. It is not stated in find a grave, however, since mom and dad were in Indiana and he was buried in Indiana, it is assumed he was born and died in Indiana

Asa states in 1910 that he is the father of Earnest, However, this i s not possible because he would have been under 13 years old at the ti me of Earnest being born.

At this time there is no phone of Sarah's tombstone on find a grave. A request has been submitted for the photo. The dates are most likely wrong due to the fact that her mother died August 12, 1853 but until i get a photo or personally go to Lewis Creek to Patterson Cemetery there isn't anything else i can put. Most likely she was born on August 12th and Mary died during or shortly after her birth. Some say this was her mom's sixth child but i have not found any record of another child so far.
Stephens, Sarah E. (I12456)
