However, in the 1860 Census we only find Elizabeth with her father and mother, or it could be I have the wrong census record for 1860. According to the 1880 Census, Margaret was potentially married before she married Mathias. There are William P, John M and Hannah Preston living in the household and they are listed as step children. William P being born in 1862 in Kentucky, John M born in 1863 in Kentucky, and Hannah born in 1864. If the Marriage Record is correct on Margaret and Matthias, these cannot be his stepchildren by her. They were married in 1860. Or did he marry two Margaret's and the 1st one died? Doubtful. Bluffton, Indiana - Bluffton Banner Thursday, October 11, 1888 - P3 C5 On last Monday night while Joseph Cloud and two other men were returning from a republican meeting, held at Wiley's school house in Jackson township, while racing down the road Cloud's horse ran into a vehicle throwing his rider over his head. Cloud fell on his head, breaking his neck, and killing him almost instantly. He was a married man and leaves a wife . He was buried at the Batson cemetery yesterday. The funeral was a large one. Mr. Campbel l's death was realized as imminent for several days, as he was sufferi ng from cancer of the large intestine. He passed away at 8 o'clock . The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Sugar Grov e church. Burial in Jones cemetery. In the 1910 Census it is unclear weather she is living with Charles or Thomas. Both are her sons, but when they write her down she is in Charles's household, but they have a line drawn where she is living with Thomas. It may be that she goes back and forth between the two. After the family moved to Preble, Ohio, four sons of Peter and Margaret married four Adney daughters of Daniel & Anna Coger Adney, also from Virginia. Daniel Rinehart married Elizabeth Adney, Jacob Rinehart married Mary Adney, Peter Rinehart married Sarah Adney, and David Rinehart married Rebecca Adney. The brothers Daniel, Jacob, and Peter then moved to Henry Co., IN with their wives.
