  According to the pension record of James Marshall Harmon; there was an other brother of his that was 2 years younger and their birth dates we re always being mixed up. Jacob did not show up until the 1860 census , living with Eveline Jones and her family at the age of 21.Believe th eir relationship was cousins. It is not proven; however, it is assume d Jacob belongs to the family of Simeon Harmon and Margaret Burgess.
