• Notes

  All Census Records, 1850 - 1880 has Eli being born in 1824. According to the 1880 Census, both of Eli's parents were born in Delaware. According to his death certificate his parents were both born in Ohio. However, Levi was definitely born in Delaware. It is unknown about Rachael his mother due to the fact that she died before 1850, so I am unable to determine weather the Ohio is correct or not. I believe I will go with what seems to be accurate. Obituary: The funeral of Eli Hatfield, who died Saturday morning at 2:30, was held from Wesley Chapel Sunday forenoon. Rev. S.C.
