• Notes

  In the 1850 Census Joshua is listed as being born in 1840. Joshua is listed as Johna Gipe in the 1860 Census. The 1870 Census has Joshua listed as being 40 years old, however from past census records it should say 30 as he was born about 1840 not 1830. In 1880 he is listed as being born in 1842. Not to mention that he is the 4th child of Daniel and Susan and his parents did not get married until 1829.
