• Notes

  The 1850 Census has Thomas being born in 1807 in Tennessee and 1812 in North Carolina in 1870. In the 1870 census with his new wife, Thomas has two Scott children living with them. They are Mary A Scott born in 1860 and Albert Scott born in 1862. Both were born in Indiana. They were born too early to be children of his second wife Elizabeth, and it is highly unlikely that they were born to him and his first wife Letha. The last child that i have listed for Thomas and Letha is Sarah in 1852. The likely hood of them being there children are not likely, but it is possible. Upon further research, these 2 children are the children of Jefferson, who is the son of Thomas that died in 1864 and Jefferson's wife died in 1863. According to find a grave Jefferson and Lydia unknown were married in 1859.
