  In the 1870 Census Mason is listed as being born in 1867. In the 1880 Census he is listed as being born in 1864. In the 1900 Census, they changed the year of birth to 1864. However, he was not born in 1864 but he was born in 1866. This is further proved by his death certificate that states his date of birth as September 26, 1866. Mason and his wife Margaret have two of their grandchildren living with them in 1920, Emmet Weaver b. 1916 in Indiana, and William Weaver b. 1917 in Indiana. It is unknown who they belong to. It could be Alice or Esther. William Weaver is still living with them in 1930.
