• Notes

  The census records are all over the place with John's date of birth. He is listed as being born in 1808, 1809, 1810 & 1811. All state the state of North Carolina. There are indications that John was in the Confederate Army but am unable to see the document as it is on Fold 3 and I do not have a membership to Fold 3. I do not know for a fact that John was born in Burke County, North Carolina but, it is on Find A Grave so I am recording it because it is plausible.
