  Age Variation: Alfred is listed as being born in July 1888 in the 1900, 1920 Census; 1889 in the 1910, 1930 Census; 30 July 1888 in the marriage record with Cecil Occupation: Alfred is listed as a Farm Laborer in the 1900 Census; Miner in the 1910, 1920, 1930 Census Notes: The marriage record for Alfred and Cecil states that Alfred was born in Clay City, Clay County, Indiana. There is no record of his parents being in Clay City. They were residing in Greene County and Sullivan County throughout the census records and there is no indication that they were ever in Clay County, Indiana. As such, I am leaving Alfred being born in Indiana only due to the fact that i cannot confirm the Clay City birth location.
