  Although the following obituary is posted on find a grave, it does not have where it came from: Mrs. Rinda Stephens, 93, whose home here was at 348 W. Locust St., died at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Shelbyville Rest Home. She had been ill for the past six months. Born in Sullivan County May 19, 1872, she was a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Swinford. She was married May 22, 1890 to Frank B. Stephens and he preceded in death in 1955. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ruluff Tucker, Bengal; Mrs. Carl Riser, Shelbyville; Mrs. Amos McClure, R.R. 4, Rushville; Mrs. Elmer Cord, R.R. 3, and Mrs. Paul Moore, R.R. 5; 20 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. A son, daughter, three brothers and three sisters all preceded in death. Mrs. Stephens spent nearly all of her life in Shelby County. She was a member of the Bengal Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at the Ewing Mortuary at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. James horner officiating. Burial will be in the Patterson Cemetery, and friends may call at the mortuary anytime.
