• Notes

  Charity is listed as Carra C and being born in 1841 in the 1860 Census. Also to note is that they were not married until July 1860 according to the document I found on their marriage however, they were living as husband and wife with a 7 month old child in the June 1860 Census. She is also listed as being born in 1843 in the 1850, 1880, 1910 & 1920 Census. Charity states in 1900 that she is the mother of 11 children with only 7 living. In the 1910 Census it is unclear weather she is living with Charles or Thomas. Both are her sons, but when they write her down she is in Charles's household, but they have a line drawn where she is living with Thomas. It may be that she goes back and forth between the two.
