  The 1850 Census list Jesse as being born in 1828; The 1860, 1870 and 1910 Census list him as being born in 1827. Jesse has two death certificates. Both state a birth state of Ohio. However, all census records state Indiana. I have decided to go with the Indiana Birth State.
