  In the 1860 Census, Garret is listed as being born in 1804 In find a grave, Garret is listed as being born on December 1, 1800 in Mason, Grant, Kentucky. Grant County, Kentucky did not exist in 1800 so I have decided to leave it as Kentucky for now. Based on the age at death on the website I have decided to go with the birth date they have listed due to the fact that most of the census records have him listed at being born in 1801.
