  In the 1870 Census Mary is listed as being born in 1828. Mary states in the 1900 Census that she is the mother of 4 children with 4 living. They are all accounted for. In Mary's death record her father is listed as John McNar. However, her marriage record to Edwin states that her last name is McMar. Or so I thought. Upon closer inspection it looks like McNear. I have chosen to go with the death certificate of McNar.
