Funeral services for Mrs. Emma E. Huffman,who died Sunday morning at 6 o 'clock at her home in Jefferson township near Jefferson Center, following a stroke of paralysis, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal church at Jefferson Center with the pastor, the Rev. D. M. Church, assisted by the Rev. L. M. Kreider, of Lancaster, in charge. Burial will be at the Lancaster cemetery. Mrs . Huffman was born in Preble county, OH., April 23, 1861, the daughter of Aaron and Rebecca McConnich Adams. She was united in marriage to Leander Lewis, on October 18, 1877, who died April 6, 1929. Two Children Survive Two children were born to this union, Estella M. Groff, of Mt. Etna, and Ernest Lewis, of Marion . Her second marriage was to Jacob Huffman on September 25, 1930. She is survived by the two children of her first marriage, a step-son Elijah Huffman, of Gary; four brothers, Elisha Adams, of Connersville ; Charles Adams, of Richmond; Daniel Adams, of Marion; and Leander Adams, of Jefferson township; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Ruggles, of Jefferson township.
