  The 1860 & 1880 Census has Samuel listed as being born in 1821. Because of the tombstone we have Samuel's birthdate at August 21, 1819. When calculating from the death certificate, it comes up with August 22, 1819. His death was reported my his brother Isaac. Which makes it even more implausible that he remarried after his wife Elizabeth died.
