  Age Variation: Alfred is listed as being born in 1811 in the 1850, 1860 U.S. Census, 1855 State Census; 1812 in the 1870 Census, 1865, 1875 State Census Occupation: Alfred is listed as a Carpenter in the 1850 Census & 1855, 1865 State Census; Carpenter and Joiner in the 1860, 1870 Census.; An interesting tidbit is that on the page in 1865 where the family is listed, Alfred was the enumerator for that page in 1865 Marriage Notes: I have been unable to locate the marriage record. I found this information on Alfred's findagrave memorial Military: According to the 1865 State Census, Alfred enlisted in the military on 25 September 1861 and re enlisted on 25 August 1864.
