  According to the 1850 Census, Nicholas was born in 1794 and according to the 1860 Census he was born in 1800. There is a database with images on ancestry called Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655 - 1915. This database states that he was born in 1796 and baptized on March 26, 1796. The diocese is Meath and he was baptized in Meath, Killeen, Ireland. According to this same database his father is Michl Keogh and mother is Martha Leinagh. The image is very hard to read to where I cannot figure out which entry is for Nicholas. Due to this I will keep the birth as 1794.
