Court records from Oct 1827- Aug 1840 Apr 1837 - Ordered that Daniel H armon be appointed overseer of the road leading from the Pleasant Grov e Mills to Flemingsburg commencing at the fork of the road on South Li ck Branch and intersecting the road leading to Flemingsburg near Jas? G Faylon? in place of W.R. Fuqua residence and that he have the follow ing hands to work there under him. Samuel Jones, Wm. Fuqua, Jos. Willi ams hands, Jms Faris, Mich Dillon, Robert Harmons hands, Elijah Harmon , Simeon Harmon, Thomas Arnold, Wm Arnold, Jn. Roden, Jms Chrisman, Jo hn M. Fuqua and Saml. Fuqua. October 1845: An Elijah listed as buyin g property from the Probate estate of Robert Harmon(note - this may b e the Elder Elijah Jackson Harmon, Sr.) Bought - 1 Grind stone; 1 Fir e Shovel; 1 Hand Saw Apr 1846 - On motion of Daniel Harmon ordered tha t Elijah Harmon, be appointed overseer of the road from South Lick t o intersect the Fleming and Sherburne Mills road at William Browning s in the room of Lewis Arnold. And that he have the following hands t o work under him, James Rankins, Harrison Harmon, Asa Saunders, and St anfield Jones October 27th 1851: Exhibit A for Settlement Case Sara h Daring, along with husband John, and Martha A Harmon draws up an agr eement with William and Green Harmon that the brothers would be reimbu rsed by sale of their father's land to payback Edward Callahan
