  Vivian M. Eberhart, 96, Jackson Township, Shelby County, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday at Major Hospital. She was born in Shelby County on Nov. 15, 1897, to Ollie and Millie(Perkins)Harrell. In 1917, she married William Eberhart, who died in 1927. A lifelong Shelby County resident, Mrs. Eberhart was a homemaker and a farmer and a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Lorene Scott, Jackson Township and Dorethea Parker, Hendricks Township; a son, William H."Bud"Eberhart, Hendricks Township; a sister, Irene Conger, Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home. The Rev. Philip L. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home fro 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
