SUNDAY MORNING, MAY 14, 1916

WELL KNOWN MAN DEAD.
William Coble of Hopedale, died yesterday evening after a brief illness from tetanus. The news of his death came as a shock to his many friends in Carroll and White counties, few of whom had heard of his condition.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at Hickory Grove.
Mr. Coble was injured a -week ago by being run over by a load of corn which he was hauling to Idaville. He attempted to get down from the wagon to adjust the harness when the team started ahead again catching his ankle in the double tree, and throwing him under the wagon which passed lengthwise over one leg.

Notes:

It is assumed that Sarah was born and died in Indiana as her parents whole married life was in Indiana. Why there was such a huge gap between William and her is unknown. However, her mom, Phebe, states in 1900 she is the mother of 2 children with only 1 living.
Sarah is buried with her parents. She is on the back side of their tombstone.
