According to find a grave, Celia is the daughter of Thomas M and Lucy Scott. However, Lucy should be Letha. Cholera was rampant in the 1830 and 1840s. This could have been the cause of death for little Celia or she could have been born with a defect. Back in the 1840s there was medical help but there were little known facts for doctors to treat patients. I doubt that we will ever know what this child died from.
