Grover is first found on the list of siblings of Maude Harmon, found i n the Family Bible of Kathern Hammond Persinger (in possession of Davi d Persinger). The date of birth written was March 14, 1899. The190 0 Census does not list Grover with his family when he would have bee n 10 years of age. Also, in January 1898, his father, James, was to l ist his children still living on a questionaire in his pension records . Grover was not listed.
